Workers compensation

Imaging @ Olympic Park will work with you to organise medical imaging, interventional procedures, and reports for patients on Worker’s Compensation.

The Victorian Work Cover Authority has 5 authorised Insurance agents, they are: Allianz Australia Workers’ Compensation (Victoria) Limited, CGU Workers Compensation (Victoria) Limited, EML VIC Pty Ltd, Gallagher Bassett Services Workers Compensation Vic Pty Ltd and Xchanging.

Imaging@Olympic Park may issue an invoice to one of the abovementioned agents upon evidence of a current and accepted claim which covers medical services.

Prior to your appoint, approval from your insurer will need to be provided. For further information, please speak to our reception team.

Injections

Injections are deemed to be a surgical procedure and require pre-approval from your case manager. Please ensure you or your staff member seek the appropriate authorisation prior to the day of service.

Blood injections

Medicare do not provide a benefit for this service – the claimant (employee) will be required to pay on the day.

Prior to your appoint, approval from your insurer will need to be provided. For further information, please speak to our reception team.

Gold card – DVA gold card holders will be covered for most services with only a few requiring prior approvals. Please ensure you mention your gold card status when you make your appointment.

White card – DVA white card holders are requested to seek authorisation from the Department of Veteran Affairs prior to attending our clinics to ensure that they will pay the cost of the service.
