Musculosketeal/Joint Injections

Shoulder Hydrodilatation

Frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis is a condition where there is inflammation and contracture of the joint capsule surrounding the shoulder joint. This usually leads to pain and loss of movement or stiffness of the shoulder. At Imaging @ Olympic Park we offer a simple procedure that is aimed to ease the pain and bring movement to the shoulder.

Synvisc Injection

Synvisc is an elastic and viscous substance made from hyaluronan which is found in normal joint fluid. It is used to treat pain in patients with osteoarthritis, usually of the shoulder, hip, knee or ankle joint, who have failed to respond adequately to more conservative treatments. Clinical trial results have shown that Synvisc injections relieve pain and may delay the need for knee surgery in some patients.
